Job Title: L2 Network Engineer with System Administration

We are seeking an experienced L2 Network Engineer with System Administration to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting network operations while also handling system administration tasks for servers, storage, and related infrastructure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support Layer 2 (switching) and Layer 3 (routing) network infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Handle VLANs, trunking, STP, port security, and link aggregation.
  • Assist in escalated issues from L1 engineers and coordinate with vendors if required.
  • Perform periodic network health checks, patching, and firmware upgrades.
  • Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in networking and system administration roles.
  • Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and scripting knowledge is a plus.
