About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team.

  • Qualification: Postgraduate / Graduate / Diploma
  • Mandatory Certification:
    • Valid CCNA / JNCIA / CCNP Routing and Switching / Security
    • OEM valid intermediate-level SD-WAN certification
  • Experience: 3+ years in handling network operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Core Duties:

  1. Monitor and report alerts from network devices
  2. Work on raised and assigned tickets/alerts from the ITSM tool:
    1. Identify the fault
    2. Assign severity
    3. Follow troubleshooting procedures
    4. Ensure timely closure of alerts/tickets
  3. Handle fault management with service providers for network-related issues:
    1. Initiate trouble tickets
    2. Follow up until resolution
    3. Escalate if required
  4. Coordinate with L2 engineers for issue resolution and change management
  5. Perform network-related changes on network devices as per role and accessibility defined in SOP
  6. Prepare and maintain network-related reports such as:
    1. Branch down call report
    2. Bandwidth utilization report
  7. Monitor and manage the Bank's network infrastructure (devices, links, etc.)
  8. Provide escalation support for L1 (Zonal Engineers); escalate issues to L2/L3 engineers if not resolved
  9. Receive calls from branches, raise tickets (if not already available in the system), and share the ticket number
  10. Add new network devices into the network and ensure they are recorded in the asset management system
  11. Follow up with engineers at Zonal Offices/Field teams to restore network uptime (links and devices)
  12. Follow up for RMA replacements
