Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and procuring raw materials, bought-outs, and project-specific items. This role requires strong negotiation and documentation skills, as well as high accountability and vendor discipline.

  • Sourcing and procurement: Source raw materials, bought-outs, and project-specific items from vendors to meet production requirements.
  • Negotiation and contract management: Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
  • Purchasing process improvement: Implement and monitor purchasing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as purchase order lead time, delivery adherence, and price variance.
  • Vendor management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
