Job Title: Opportunity Acquisition Manager

Description:

The Opportunity Acquisition Manager is a key position responsible for driving business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities in both the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans to capture new business, including teaming, pricing, and proposal strategies.
  • Evaluate markets to identify potential opportunities and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements.
  • Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, and drive the proposal process from start to finish.
  • Prepare compelling written proposals by developing concepts, gathering information, writing drafts, and finalizing submissions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reference databases for technical, management, and past performance.
  • Conduct after-action reviews for all contracts and document lessons learned to inform future capture techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in capture management, preferably in Federal or State procurements.
  • A strong track record of success in capturing new business, with a proven ability to win staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing clear, logical, and persuasive documents, with a strong understanding of cost and financials.
  • Familiarity with GSA and other Federal Schedules.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, Communications, or Business Administration.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion, with excellent time management and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
