
Executive in Charge of Government Sector Sales

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to lead our sales efforts in the Government sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in IT sales and be able to drive business growth across complex hierarchies.
- The role involves owning and managing end-to-end sales activities for Government accounts, driving demand generation for enterprise IT and security solutions, and identifying opportunities through direct engagement, tenders, and empanelment processes.
- The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in government and PSU sectors, and lead proposal development, presentations, and budgetary discussions tailored to customer pain points.
- Additionally, they will coordinate with pre-sales and technical teams to ensure solution alignment with client needs, maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, and ensure post-sales account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and sustained engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 3+ years of B2G (Business-to-Government) IT sales experience, with proven success in selling IT/software/security solutions to Government/PSU clients.
- Strong understanding of tendering, GeM, rate contract, and bid submission processes, as well as exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage key accounts and drive business across complex hierarchies, with willingness to travel extensively to client locations and government departments.
- Prior experience in GovTech, e-Governance, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention solution sales, as well as understanding of Government IT budgets and procurement patterns.
