Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with strong expertise in the airline domain to lead and deliver strategic projects for our clients in the aviation sector.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of airline operations, systems, and processes, along with a proven track record in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of airline domain projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives are met.
  • Engage closely with airline clients to understand business needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile/waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor and report project progress through regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all project phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices.
  • Support pre-sales activities such as RFP responses, estimations, and client presentations (as required).

Key Responsibilities:

Our Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic projects for our clients in the aviation sector. The role requires a strong understanding of airline operations, systems, and processes, with a proven track record in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
  • 15+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of airline systems such as PSS (Passenger Service Systems), DCS (Departure Control Systems), revenue management, loyalty systems, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul).
  • Hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in airline context.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with Tier-1 airline clients or global aviation service providers, Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, etc.), Exposure to IATA standards and airline regulatory frameworks.
