Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Team Lead.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of project outcomes by providing strategic, technical, and managerial leadership to our teams.

This includes engaging with stakeholders, coordinating with national and international partners, and supervising short-term experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
  3. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  4. Prepare and submit regular progress reports, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and colleagues.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Economics, Forestry, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12 years of professional experience in sustainability and natural resources management, business development, value chain promotion, and market linkages.
  • 8 years of experience in business development, value chain promotion, and market linkages.
  • 5 years of management/leadership experience as a project team leader or manager.
  • 5 years of experience in projects in South Asia (region), including 2 years in projects in India (country).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
