Key Pricing Role

Role Summary:

The primary goal of this position is to identify problems, suggest solutions, document requirements, and communicate the requirements and direction of new and existing products for airlines that meet market demand and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • ATPCO Automated Rules processing knowledge is necessary.
  • Collaborate with airlines directly to provide innovative shopping, pricing, reissue, and refund solutions using ATPCO fares and rules.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage projects through concept, development, and implementation phases.
  • Develop project requirement documents that define all requirements during the concept phase.
  • Support implementation and launch by collaborating with internal departments to ensure a smooth adoption process by customers.
  • Manage pilots and beta tests for successful implementation and launch.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience in the travel industry (preferably with an airline reservation system, GDS, or travel agency).
  • Explicit ATPCO Automated Rules processing including automated reissues (Cat 31) and refunds (Cat 33).
  • Strong overall knowledge of ATPCO fares, pricing, and data application.
  • Strong business requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • IATA Fare Construction knowledge is a plus, and experience in gathering functional requirements and writing functional requirement documents is beneficial.
