We are currently seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager to join our team in Mumbai (Head Office).

As a key member of the sales and business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth in the Middle East region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • Hit sales targets and maintain profit margins.
  • Expand presence by finding distributors, agents, and partners.
  • Ensure excellent service and strong customer satisfaction.

Sales Strategy

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends and competition in the Middle East region.

  • Research and stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop effective sales strategies to drive growth and increase revenue.

Business Development

You will be responsible for building relationships with partners, negotiating contracts, and managing the full order cycle from quotes to delivery.

  • Negotiate contracts, tenders, and agreements with partners.
  • Manage the full order cycle: quotes → delivery → invoicing.
  • Monitor payments and follow up promptly.

Team Collaboration

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing.

  • Work collaboratively with teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and ensure seamless project execution.

Risk Management

You will identify potential risks related to regulations or geopolitics and develop mitigation plans.

  • Stay up-to-date with trade rules and advise teams accordingly.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in international business development.
  • A strong track record of sales success.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of legal, trade, and compliance matters.
