Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team, primarily responsible for accurately punching in sales orders into the company's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales terms and procedures to generate sales orders efficiently. While not mandatory, knowledge and experience in project and legal compliances related to sales orders would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Order Processing:
Receive and review sales orders from sales representatives or customers.
Enter sales orders accurately and promptly into the company's ERP system.
Ensure that sales orders are processed in accordance with established procedures and terms of sales.
Verify pricing, discounts, and terms of sale before finalizing sales orders.
Sales Coordination:
Coordinate with sales teams, customer service representatives, and other departments to ensure smooth order processing.
Communicate order status and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to sales orders in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the finance department to address payment terms and credit issues.
Sales Support:
Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed, including preparing sales reports, maintaining customer records, and assisting with inquiries.
Assist in preparing sales quotations and proposals.
Follow up with customers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and other related matters.
ERP Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company's ERP system.
Generate reports and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in implementing enhancements or updates to the ERP system related to sales order processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in sales coordination or order processing roles.
Strong knowledge of sales terms and procedures.
Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in data entry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of project and legal compliances regarding sales orders is a plus.
Additional Notes: While knowledge and experience in project and legal compliances regarding sales orders are not mandatory requirements, candidates with such expertise will be considered favorably. The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of sales orders, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the organization.
