Looking for Director of Sales - Analytics Services
Exp: 15+yrs
About the Role:
As the Sr. Director of Sales for Analytics Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving client success and enhancing our market footprint. Your primary focus will be on generating leads, securing invitations for our company to participate in Analytics RFPs, and supporting the development of tailored data and AI solutions that meet client needs. You will work closely with consultants, data scientists, and data engineers to tackle complex business challenges and showcase the value of our offerings.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
Lead Generation : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic lead generation efforts, leveraging industry networks, market research, and participation in relevant events to enhance visibility and attract potential clients.
Sales Strategy Development : Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at achieving ambitious revenue targets for Analytics Services.
Team Leadership : Mentor and guide a cross-functional analytics team to ensure the effective execution of the sales plan, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Sales Process Optimization : Drive the establishment of robust sales processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall sales effectiveness and efficiency.
Client Engagement & Solution Development:
Client Interaction : Engage with clients early in the sales process to deeply understand their needs, ensuring our solutions are precisely tailored to address their unique challenges.
Collaborative Solutioning : Work alongside internal teams, including pre-sales, consultants, data scientists, and data engineers, to develop innovative, client-centric solutions that align with technical strategies and broader business objectives.
Trusted Advisor Role : Position yourself as a trusted advisor by providing valuable insights into our solutions and prevailing industry trends, thereby enhancing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership:
Cross-Department Collaboration : Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Strategic Alignment : Contribute to the overarching business strategy by aligning sales goals with company objectives, ensuring a unified approach to market challenges.
Desired Skills, Competencies & Experience:
Extensive Experience : Over 10 years of relevant experience in sales and business development, with a strong emphasis on analytics, data science, or AI solutions.
Technical Pre-Sales Expertise : A proven track record in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering, particularly in the fields of data science or analytics.
Analytical Proficiency : Strong understanding of data science concepts, machine learning, and advanced analytics, enabling effective communication of technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Relationship Building : A client-focused approach with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships and develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
Strategic Problem Solving : Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate and address complex business challenges.
Innovative Pitching : Experience in crafting and pitching innovative solutions to large clients, enhancing our competitive edge in the market.
Team Collaboration : A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Educational Background : An MBA from a reputable institution is preferred.
