Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with expertise in the lighting industry or related fields such as electrical, building materials, B2B, or key account management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies to achieve organizational targets.
Responsibilities
Planning:
Target relevant architects, interior designers (IDs), and lighting designers to secure product specifications.
Create and manage a sales funnel to achieve quarterly targets jointly set with the Country Manager.
Identify and pre-qualify key upcoming projects; collaborate with management for necessary support.
Build and nurture relationships with key project partners, providing regular product training and updates.
Develop strategies with stakeholders to meet jointly set sales and performance targets.
Execution:
Achieve sales and collection targets based on business strategy and market conditions, in alignment with management.
Support the sales team in:
Creating a realistic sales funnel with accurate projections.
Acquiring and nurturing new accounts.
Converting opportunities and prospects into successful sales.
Maintain and provide detailed client visit records and expense claims to management.
Prepare and submit provisional quotes and sales orders for management approval.
Address after-sales issues, ensuring amicable solutions for clients; escalate and seek management support when required.
Share insights on quotes and secure approvals from the General Manager, addressing deviations related to credit and pricing policies.
Coordination:
Collaborate with the Country Manager to execute sales activities and initiatives.
Coordinate with lighting designers and pre-sales engineers to gather technical information and project details.
Work with the Country Manager, heads of departments, and operations teams to support scope studies, proposal preparation, and project execution.
Assist the Country Manager in designing and delivering training programs for new and existing partners.
Manage customer expectations during delays by working closely with the SCM Head.
Escalate unresolved issues such as outstanding payments or statutory documentation to the Country Manager.
Qualifications :
Diploma/BE Electrical(MBA - Marketing is an added advantage)
