Technical Support Engineer Job DescriptionYou will work closely with the Client Success team to provide Tier-2 client support for software technical issues, debugging, and resolving problems. This role involves communicating with the development team, internal customers, and external clients to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.Provide technical support to internal and external users, including customer service teams and clients.Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team based in India.Assist QA lead with quality assurance activities.Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.Speak to internal and external customers to quickly identify problem causes.Propose workarounds for customers when fixes are delayed.Provide timely and accurate customer feedback.Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.Support the roll-out of new applications.Document procedures and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Test and evaluate new releases.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.A US hours work schedule (9 am to 6 pm central time).3-5 years of tech support experience for a web-based business application with mobile interface.Knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS.Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.Familiarity with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.Experience with texting and communication-based applications is beneficial.Certifications in Linux, Java, Web development, AWS are desired but not necessary.Experience using AI tools for daily tasks.A development mindset to quickly adapt to a developer role with minimal training.Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.
