JobOverview:

Weare seeking a proactive and detailoriented Assistant ManagerFacility Management to support the efficient operation of oureducational institute serving 300 students and 80 employees. Therole involves assisting with the daily management of facilitiescoordinating with maintenance teams and ensuring that the campus issafe wellmaintained and conducive to learning. Candidates with 23years of experience in facility management or coworking spacemanagement are encouraged toapply.

KeyResponsibilities:
1.Facility Maintenance &Support:
  • Assistthe Facility Manager in overseeing daytoday campus operationsensuring all infrastructure iswellmaintained.

  • Coordinatewith maintenance staff janitorial teams and external contractors toaddress repair needspromptly.

  • Ensureclassrooms offices and common areas are clean safe andfunctional.

  • Conductroutine inspections of the facility identifying issues and ensuringthey are resolved in a timelymanner.

  • Supportthe of maintenance schedules for key systems (e.g. HVAC electricalplumbing).

2.Safety &Compliance:
  • Ensurecompliance with safety regulations and local building codesincluding regular fire safety and emergency preparednesschecks.

  • Assistin implementing safety protocols for students staff and visitorsensuring adherence to campus safetyguidelines.

  • Supportthe management of campus security systems including CCTV alarms andaccesscontrols.

3.Budget & ResourceAssistance:
  • Assistin managing the facilities budget keeping track of expenditures andidentifying costsavingopportunities.

  • Workclosely with vendors and suppliers helping to negotiate contractsand managerelationships.

  • Assistin managing inventory for maintenance supplies and ensuringmaterials are restocked in a timelymanner.

4.Space Utilization & EventCoordination:
  • Helpoptimize the use of campus space coordinating with academicdepartments to ensure efficient use of classrooms meeting rooms andeventspaces.

  • Providelogistical support for campus events working closely with the eventplanning team to ensure facilities are prepared foractivities.

  • Overseethe setup of audiovisual equipment seating and other logisticalrequirements during campusevents.

5.Sustainability & EnvironmentalInitiatives:
  • Supportsustainability projects such as energysaving initiatives and wastemanagement.

  • Assistin managing recycling programs and promoting ecofriendly practicesoncampus.

6.People & VendorManagement:
  • Supervisemaintenance janitorial and security teams ensuring they followschedules and complete tasksefficiently.

  • Fostera positive working environment and help in training team members onsafety protocols and maintenance bestpractices.

  • Actas a liaison between vendors suppliers and internal stakeholders toensure smoothoperations.

Requirements&Skills:
  • Minimum23 years of experience in facility management coworking spacemanagement or a relatedrole.

  • Basicknowledge of building systems safety regulations and facilitymaintenanceprocesses.

  • Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks andpriorities.

  • Excellentcommunication skills for working with vendors contractors andinternalteams.

  • Problemsolvingabilities and quick decisionmaking in highpressuresituations.

  • Proficiencywith Google Workspace (Docs Sheets etc.) and facility managementsoftware.

  • Adegree in Facility Management Engineering or a related field ispreferred.


Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in student-facing orcustomer service roles. Preferred age range: 32-40 years. Provenleadership experience in ed-tech or student-centric environments.Successful track record of managing teams of 10-15 individuals.Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a vibrant andoptimistic mindset. Demonstrated ability to handle challengingsituations and ensure an exceptional student experience. ShouldHave: Experience in implementing process efficiencies andautomation in educational settings. Familiarity with studentretention strategies and academic event management. Effectivecollaboration with cross-functional teams. Nice to Have: Experiencein digital marketing education or related fields. Advancedproblem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.Additional certifications or training in student management oreducational leadership.
