Qualification: Graduate (Any additional diploma/degree in Logistics/Supply Chain will be an advantage)
Work Experience: 7+ Years in Ocean Export Operations Freight Forwarding/Logistics
Remuneration: 8-9 LPA (CTC shall not be a constraint for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities
Export Operations Management
Lead and oversee the entire ocean export operations cycle - FCL & LCL shipments
Ensure smooth coordination for bookings, container planning, scheduling, and documentation
Monitor shipment tracking, pre-alerts, SI filing, HBL/MBL issuance, and related regulatory filings
Handle end-to-end communication with shipping lines, co-loaders, CFS, and CHA partners
Documentation & Compliance
Supervise timely and accurate generation and filing of export documentation
Ensure all documentation complies with export regulations, customer requirements, and internal SOPs
Stay updated with changing DGFT, customs, and international trade norms impacting ocean exports
Client Management
Act as a primary point of contact for key clients related to ocean export shipments
Ensure regular client updates, address escalations, and drive customer satisfaction
Work with internal teams (Sales, CS, Accounts) to ensure seamless coordination and execution
Team Supervision
Lead a team of export operations executives; manage performance, training, and development
Allocate responsibilities, monitor productivity, and maintain operational discipline
Foster a high-performing, customer-centric team culture
Vendor & Cost Control
Coordinate with shipping lines and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective operations
Optimize operational costs and control unnecessary expenses such as detention, demurrage, etc.
Support rate negotiations and vendor evaluation
Key Skills
Strong knowledge of ocean export processes and documentation
Familiarity with export compliance, customs procedures, and international shipping practices
Working experience with freight forwarding ERP/software
Strong communication, coordination, and team management abilities
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in deadline-driven environments
Preferred Background:
Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Shipping Line / CHA
