Job description Job Title Sous Chef Location Dacations Resort Multiple Locations Possible Job Type Full-Time Seasonal Permanent Roles Available Reports To Executive Chef Head Chef About Dacations At Dacations we craft unforgettable vacation experiences From luxurious beachfront stays to cozy mountain retreats we believe in delivering exceptional service ambiance and most importantly world-class dining Our culinary team plays a central role in creating memorable guest experiences and we re looking for a talented Sous Chef to help lead our kitchens Position Overview As a Sous Chef at Dacations you will be the right hand of the Executive Chef responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations mentoring junior staff maintaining food quality and ensuring health and safety standards are met You ll have the opportunity to cook and create in a dynamic guest-focused environment that values innovation and excellence Key Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff Ensure consistent food quality taste presentation and portioning Manage inventory food costs and kitchen waste reduction Train and mentor line cooks and prep staff Ensure compliance with hygiene safety and sanitation standards Participate in menu planning and seasonal menu changes Step in for the Executive Chef during absences Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless guest service Qualifications Skills Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong line cook ready to step up Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred Knowledge of a variety of cuisines international or resort-style a plus Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and leadership skills Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Staff accommodation for remote resort locations Meals during shifts Opportunities for career growth within the Dacations brand A creative supportive and energetic team environment Beautiful working locations with diverse clientele Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month
