We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team As the second-in-command in the kitchen the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation staff supervision inventory control and maintaining high food safety standards This is a leadership role suited for someone with a passion for food a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient kitchen operation Ensure consistent food quality presentation and portion control Enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen HACCP food safety regulations Manage inventory including ordering receiving and proper storage of food supplies Assist in creating menus and new dishes in collaboration with the Head Chef Train and mentor junior kitchen staff Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and work areas Step in for the Head Chef in their absence Requirements Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role in a professional kitchen Culinary degree or diploma preferred Strong knowledge of cooking techniques kitchen equipment and food safety standards Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience with South Indian North Continental and Tandoor Certification in food safety and hygiene Familiarity with kitchen management software is a plus Working Conditions Physically demanding role must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects Fast-paced and high-pressure environment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 35 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
