Job Description Role: Business Development Executive Type: Senior/Seasoned Executive | Global (US, EU, APAC, ME) BU: QpiAI Quantum Software (Materials and Chemicals) Position Summary Lead global business development for QpiAI's materials simulation and quantum-AI discovery platform QpiAI-Matter across chemicals, advanced materials, energy, and semiconductors. Key Responsibilities - Build global enterprise/academic licensing opportunities/pipeline for QpiAI-Matter. - Drive enterprise deployment cycles with multi-year co-innovation and licensing deals. - Engage VPs of R&D in computational materials discovery, materials simulation, modeling, analysis, computational chemistry, structural materials, and industrial chemistry. - Position QpiAI-Matter as a next-generation discovery acceleration stack. - Lead solution workshops, PoC structuring, and negotiation stages. - Align closely with science, chemistry, and platform teams. - Drive negotiations and hand off mature opportunities to sales. - Execute QpiAI-aligned market intelligence, BD analytics, and CRM protocols. - Build alliances with consulting firms, system integrators, and global innovation hubs. - Coordinate with product and engineering teams for technical solution alignment. Required Experience - 1520+ years in materials, chemicals, simulation software, or AI-driven R&D BD. - Experience with licensing of industrial/digital chemistry platforms and simulation tools. - Technology-business leadership: materials discovery, materials or molecular modeling/simulation/analysis, industrial materials design and domain knowledge of polymers, ceramics, composites, semiconductors, metals and alloys, catalytic materials, biomaterials, soft matter, structural materials, and nanomaterials. - Domain-business leadership: Automotive, aerospace, packaging, F&B, construction, heavy engineering, chemicals, energy, semiconductors, and EVs. - Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments. - Ability to work with scientists, R&D teams, and compliance/legal teams. Skills & Competencies - Deal value optimization, license pricing optimization, commercial model enhancement. - Commercials/deal rightsizing for value-based solutions and platform deployments. - Technical storytelling, techno-business proposal building. - Strong stakeholder management & negotiation skills. - Global networking capability with C-level, government, and national labs. KPIs & Success Metrics - Number of qualified enterprise leads. - Enterprise contracts closed. - Number of full platform deployments. - Number of recurring licensing deals. - Strategic partnerships with large chemicals, materials, and research institutes.
