
Business Development Specialist

We are hiring a Business Development Specialist with 23 years of experience in IT services and marketing solutions sales. This is a lead-closing role you will engage with qualified leads, understand their requirements, pitch tailored solutions, and close deals for our range of services including:
- Digital Marketing (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Paid Ads, Automation)
- Web & App Development
- CRM / ERP Solutions
- Branding & Creative Services
The ideal candidate will be a confident sales professional who can handle client conversations end-to-end and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with warm/qualified leads
- Conduct client meetings (virtual/onsite) to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Prepare and present customized proposals, pricing, and service agreements.
- Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close sales to achieve targets.
- Work closely with the delivery/operations team to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Maintain updated sales pipeline, proposals, and closing status in CRM.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 23 years of proven experience in B2B sales / business development in IT services, digital marketing, or SaaS/technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of marketing services and software/IT solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to explain technical + marketing concepts in a simple, business-focused way.
- Target-driven, proactive, and client-focused approach.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Prior experience in agency sales / IT services sales / SaaS or software sales.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, etc.).
- Network in industries like e-commerce, healthcare, education, or startups.
