Job Description Job Responsibilities 1. Clear focus on GT, MT, Institutional sales Channels to build Distribution, Visibility and volumes. 2. Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives. 3. Overseeing the domestic sales day-to-day operations, including managing budgets, resources. 4. Monitoring market and industry trends to determine business opportunities and Strategies. 5. To facilitate the Sales team for achievement of Annual Business Plan (ABP),increase in distribution, visibility and market share. 6. Guide the Sales team for establishing Sales Targets - Brand wise Value &Volume as per ABP. 7. Ensure optimum use of tools and software. 8. Coordinate sales activities and policies to enhance revenues; oversee all sales related events; 9. Monitor market trends on a regular basis; prepare sales fore casting; analyze sales figures to determine business growth potential; 10. Initiate and action Sales Promotion Schemes in coordination with Marketing Dept; 11. Identify and develop potential markets and segments. Appoint new Distributors and Dealers; 12. Guide and mentor the sales team to achieve targeted sales & collection; 13. Develop and implement an effective sales plan; 14. Attract, retain, train and motivate an effective sales force; 15. Monitor performance reporting systems; 16. Ensure periodic MIS Reports are prepared and submitted by all team members; 17. Interface with Marketing on sales related issues; 18. Ensure that all sales related processes adhere to internal standards and requirements. Education/Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge/Skills , Behaviours and Other Competences Education/Qualifications Bachelor Degree with Post Graduate qualification in Sales & Marketing Management. Experience - 10+ years in leadership role in sales & marketing in FMCG Industry. Demonstrated track record of success and performance. - Team Handling(Direct Reportees 15+ & Indirect Reportees 400+) - Business Volume400cr+ - Experience Pan India or at least 3 zones. Knowledge/Skills - Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, sales & business development. - Ability to understand changing market dynamics and translating them into actionable strategy. - Ability to set-up effective metrics and business processes. - Ability to work on own initiative, prioritize work, adhere to deadlines and take day-to-day operational decisions. - Good written communication and presentation with ability to prepare concise, accurate and focused reports and presentations. - Keen commercial sense and awareness. Behaviours - Team player, able to lead and participate. - Ability to establish credibility and influence. - Ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with other stakeholders and colleagues. - Capable of resolving differences without conflict. - High level of integrity and dependability.
