The New Shop is India's fastest-growing convenience retail chain, with a mission to build the largest franchise-led network of 24/7 stores across high-density neighborhoods and transit hubs. Currently at 250+ stores and scaling rapidly, our goal is to open 10,000 franchised stores by 2030.
Role Overview :
- We're looking for a high-energy, mid-level Business Development Manager - Franchise Sales to drive franchise acquisition across India.
- You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new franchise partners while building lasting relationships that help scale The New Shop's footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead franchise sales strategy and execution across regions
- Identify, pitch, and onboard prospective franchise partners
- Conduct investor meetings, property evaluations, and financial discussions
- Coordinate with legal, training, and operations teams for smooth handover
- Track sales funnel, targets, and conversions using CRM tools
- Represent the brand at expos, events, and partner networks
Requirements:
- 6-7 years of experience in franchise sales or channel development (retail/F&B/QSR preferred)
- Postgraduate degree from a Tier 1 institute (IIM, ISB, XLRI, MDI, etc.)
- Fluency in English and Hindi
- Strong sales acumen, negotiation, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced startup environment
