Job Description About product: Presently Axis Bank Retail Microfinance operates in 26 States & UTs across 1094 branches covering 20 lac active women JLG (Joint Liability Group) borrowers with total loan outstanding of Rs. 4,217 Cr as on Feb-23. There are many prospective graduated JLG borrowers requiring higher ticket size which cannot be served through JLG product. This is where Individual Loan comes in. IL will be offered at individual capacity of customer based on business activity and detailed income assessment ticket size ranging up to 2.5 lacs. About the role: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) sets the vision for region and develops and adheres to a business plan to attain this vision. RSM is responsible for maintaining the profit and loss of the location and for the business expansion and growth of the lending book so as to achieve the top-line and profitability goals. RSM manages team of Area Sales Managers to ensure that they are able to respond proactively to the business issues and challenges by providing them with the required guidance and support. Key responsibilities: - Drive Individual Loan product business at regional level managing multiple areas / area sales managers - Conduct area sales team meetings and set targets to ensure tight control on sales process - Responsible for maintaining the product mix in the business and benchmark yield across location - Responsible for Collections of delinquent accounts and manage quality portfolio - Plan/design sales programs, contests and presentations - Manage relations with branch, circle and other stakeholders in the location - Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability - Effectively engage with Product, Credit, Operations, and other teams to understand and contribute to overall processes and profitability across locations - Maintain good working environment and high motivation level at across location Role Proficiencies: - Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends - Good communication (both verbal and written) skill - Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment - Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms - Stakeholder management - Ability to guide, motivate team and meet deadlines Qualifications: - Graduation / Post-Graduation from a recognized institute - 7-8 years of experience in lending business Grade: Senior Manager / AVP
