Pastry Sous Chef

**Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Assist in Daily Pastry Production**:
- Support the Head Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
**2. Lead and Train Pastry Team**:
- Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
- Ensure the team follows recipes and adheres to health and safety regulations.
**3. Develop New Recipes**:
- Contribute to the development of innovative and seasonal dessert menus.
- Experiment with new techniques and ingredients to create unique offerings.
**4. Maintain Kitchen Efficiency**:
- Organize and manage the pastry kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients as needed.
**5. Ensure Food Safety and Hygiene**:
- Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Ensure all equipment is used and maintained properly.
**6. Monitor Quality Control**:
- Oversee the quality of ingredients and finished products.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all pastry items.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end bakery or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and trends.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in pastry arts preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
