**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pastry Production**:

- Assist in preparing and producing a wide variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, bread, and other baked goods.
- Ensure consistent presentation and quality of all items in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and experiment with new recipes and concepts to enhance the pastry menu.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and guide the pastry team, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to recipes.
- Provide hands-on training to junior staff and pastry cooks to maintain high performance and skill levels.
- Delegate tasks efficiently and monitor workflow to meet production schedules.
- **Inventory and Cost Control**:

- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring the timely ordering of ingredients.
- Monitor and control waste, portion sizes, and ingredient usage to optimize costs.
- Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to develop cost-effective menu items.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations in the pastry kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and equipment.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to plan and execute production schedules.
- Coordinate with other kitchen departments to ensure seamless service and menu integration.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure clarity of instructions and tasks.
- **Problem-Solving and Quality Control**:

- Address any issues with production, ingredients, or team performance promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry Arts from an accredited institution.
- **Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience in creating desserts, pastries, and baked goods in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry production, and plating.
- Creative and detail-oriented with a flair for innovation.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in operating pastry kitchen equipment and tools.
- **Key Attributes**:

- Passion for pastry arts and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
