GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
- Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, e.g., Project Management Body of

Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Proven experience providing independent judgment and discretion
- Proven experience working independently under general instructions on a large variety of special projects
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
- Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
- Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
- Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
- Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION

Entry level professional role. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Provides high-level administrative
support as needed for project, program and PMO
management. Anticipates, initiates, coordinates and follows up on administrative activities and special projects.
Assists members of various departments/committees in developing and maintaining project schedules and project
management reporting documents, ensuring all project documentation is accurate and complete. Has general
understanding of principles in project management. Works under close to moderate supervision with limited
latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers and project managers on non-complex projects to
learn through experience.
