**Job Title: Academic Counsellor**

**Location: Remote, Preferably Chennai**

**Exp : 1 to 2 yrs**

**Schedule: Day shift (Monday to Saturday**)

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents to understand their academic goals,

interests, and challenges.
- Provide detailed information about courses, programs, and resources to help students make

informed decisions.
- Assist students in selecting appropriate courses based on their individual needs, abilities, and career

aspirations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of curriculum, teaching methods, and

assessment systems.
- Monitor student progress and performance, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to address student concerns, resolve issues,

and optimize learning experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends, curriculum changes, and college admission requirements.
- Conduct workshops and informational sessions for students, parents, and educators on academic planning,

college preparation, and other relevant topics.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of counselling sessions, student interactions, and academic plans.
- Assist in the development of counselling resources, including guides, handouts, and online materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in academic counselling, preferably in an online education environment.
- Strong knowledge of school curricula, academic pathways, and college admission processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and parents effectively.
- Empathetic and supportive approach, with the ability to understand and address individual student needs.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

**Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to accommodate student and parent schedule**

**Salary**: ₹10,078.96 - ₹15,000.00 per month
