**Job Description: Chef**
**Responsibilities**:
**1. **Preparing, Cooking, and Presenting High-Quality Dishes**:
- Ensure that dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and excellence in every dish served.
- Pay close attention to detail in terms of ingredients, seasoning, and presentation.
**2. **Assisting Head Chef in Creating Menu Items, Recipes, and Dishes**:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and recipes.
- Contribute creative ideas and innovations to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Participate in the planning and execution of special dishes and events.
**3. **Health, Hygiene & Safety**:
- Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Ensure that the kitchen and food storage areas are kept clean and organized.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses.
**4. **Managing and Training Commis Chefs**:
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs in their daily tasks.
- Provide training and development opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and supportive working environment.
**5. **Portion & Waste Control**:
- Monitor portion sizes and control waste to ensure cost efficiency and minimize food waste.
- Implement measures to reduce spoilage and overproduction.
**6. **Managing Daily Kitchen Operations**:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to maintain a seamless workflow.
- Handle any issues that arise during service promptly and effectively.
Pay: ₹67,140.37 - ₹71,790.98 per month
