Business Unit Engagement

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

At Hewlett Packard Enterprise we are beginning an enterprise wide transformation of our services business and are seeking highly motivated individuals to transform IT solutions to "As-a-service" business models.

**What you’ll do**:
**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Provide management and oversight of a business unit compliance program.
- Responsibilities of this position include responding to business inquiries, reporting, and providing oversight of the compliance screening processes.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and leads/develops recommendations and provides insight for management.
- Works cross-functionally to prioritize operations/issues.
- Partners with the business units on key compliance topics
- Defines and reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement actions to address.
- Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
- Communicates requirements and guidelines to the operations and business unit
- Mentors junior-level staff and establishes guidelines for the mentorship programs.

W**hat you need to bring**:
**_ Education and Experience Required:_**
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
- Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.
- Experience in more than one supply chain function.
- Broker's license and/or 6-10 years of experience in a customs/global trade function.

**_ Knowledge and Skills:_**
- Excellent understanding of compliance processes
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Excellent internal and external relationship management skills.
