We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
- Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
