Designation: Regional Head - Student Recruitment (South)

Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview

The Regional Head will be responsible for leading, managing, and driving the performance of Student Recruitment Managers (SRMs) across multiple regions. This role requires strategic oversight of regional recruitment plans, agent network development, and delivery of student recruitment targets. The Regional Head will act as the key link between Edvoy’s global strategy and regional execution, ensuring consistency, compliance, and growth in student enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SRMs across multiple regions.
  • Set clear performance targets and ensure achievement of individual and regional KPIs.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one reviews, training, and coaching to drive performance and capability.

Regional Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute regional recruitment strategies in line with Edvoy’s global objectives.
  • Analyse regional trends, market performance, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Agent & Partner Management

  • Oversee the SRMs in building, managing, and expanding agent networks.
  • Ensure consistent engagement, training, and compliance across all partner relationships.
  • Represent Edvoy in high-level meetings with key agents, institutions, and stakeholders.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Working

  • Work closely with marketing, admissions, and compliance teams to align efforts and improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with university partners to strengthen brand visibility and market presence.
  • Ensure smooth communication flow between regional teams and central teams.

Performance & Reporting

  • Drive results against agreed student recruitment targets.
  • Regularly monitor and report on SRM and regional performance, identifying risks and corrective actions.
  • Establish best practices for efficient operations and effective recruitment activities.

Brand Building & Representation

  • Represent Edvoy at regional and international events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Promote Edvoy’s value proposition to agents, students, and partners.
  • Support in developing and delivering presentations, workshops, and training sessions.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in higher education student recruitment, with at least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving regional student recruitment targets.
  • Strong understanding of international education markets, particularly the UK study abroad landscape.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and people management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building abilities across diverse cultures.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within tight timelines.
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and independence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
