SalezShark is looking for Lead - Proposal Development having sound knowledge of RFP/RFQ/RFI management, Bid Management, Capture management and dealing with US Federal government & DOD contracting.

  • Experience in Bid Management, Capture management responding to RFP and other presales activities.
  • Anchoring responses to Proactive (proposals) as well as Reactive (RFP/RFI) bids as a SPOC for timely submission.
  • Proactively identify and propose improvements or innovations to services, product functionality or processes.
  • Prepare customer/vertical-specific sales collaterals (Capability presentations, case studies, solution documents, white papers etc.) by working closely with the respective practice teams.
  • Review the proposal through color team processes (Pink, Red, Gold) to ensure quality and compliance, incorporate feedback, and make necessary revisions.
  • Assists the sales team in developing and implementing account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans.
  • Effectively coordinate with stakeholders to design a solution response.
  • End-to-end ownership of the proposal response to the client for timely submission.


Required Experience:

3+ years of relevant experience in DoD contracting


Must-Haves:

  • Good understanding of the IT Services landscape - From Traditional stack (SDLC) to NextGen stack (Web, Mobile, Cloud, Big Data etc.)
  • Good understanding of US Federal government contracting - Contract vehicles, GWACs, GSA Platform & IDIQs. Capture & Bid Management using various portals such as SAM.GOV, GovTribe, FedConnect GovWIN & GSA ebuy.
  • Exposure in DoD contracting is desirable.
  • End to End handling of Capture management, lead generation, and Bid Management.
  • Hands-on experience in Proposal writing is mandatory.
  • Experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management and a good understanding of the End-to-End sales life cycle.
  • Good presentation skills, well versed with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare proposals, case studies, past performances & marketing collateral etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to independently navigate and get the required information from various stakeholders to design a compelling solution/proposal.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
