About the Opportunity:


FedTec is looking to hire skilled and experienced Jr & Sr Technical Proposal Writer to join our team for their India office. As a Technical Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for developing compelling and technically accurate proposals in response to solicitations from USA State clients, as well as other SLED (State, Local, and Education) agencies. You will work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand client requirements and articulate our solutions effectively in written proposals.

Working Hrs. : 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM IST

Work Location : 100% Remote

Job Type : Full-Time


Job Summary : The Proposal Writer will be responsible for creating compelling and persuasive proposals to secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have excellent written English skills, extensive experience with documentation, and an understanding of IT concepts. Experience with the US public sector bidding process is a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and format proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents.
  • Develop graphics, charts, and other images to enhance proposal presentations and convey complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Manage and organize all proposal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Translate technical information into clear, concise, and compelling content.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, marketing, subject matter and technical experts, to gather necessary information and insights.
  • Ensure all proposals meet the requirements and standards set by the client and adhere to internal guidelines.
  • Conduct research to gather information about potential clients, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Review and revise proposals to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.
  • Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Coordinate proposal production activities, including formatting, printing, and packaging, to meet submission deadlines.
  • Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and boilerplate materials for reuse in future proposals.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to proposal writing and procurement processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional written English skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience with documentation and technical writing.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with the US public sector bidding process is a plus.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Photo editing / Image creation software.
