Job Description
As a, Proposal Writer is responsible for developing and managing the creation of business proposals that effectively communicate an organization’s capabilities, strengths, and value propositions to potential clients The role involves working closely with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure that proposals meet the requirements of Request for Proposals (RFPs) or other solicitation documents. The Proposal Writer plays a critical role in Mindlance’s business development process, helping the organization win new business and retain existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze RFPs, RFQs to understand client requirements and evaluate the fit with Mindlance offerings.
- Determine proposal strategy in collaboration with business development team.
- Write and edit proposal content compliant with client’s requirement.
- Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and insights.
- Manage the proposal development process, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Monitor and adhere to proposal deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all materials.
- Track proposal progress and maintain records of proposal activities, including win/loss analysis and lessons learned.
- Stay updated on industry trends, client needs, and competitors to continuously improve the proposal writing process.
Education/Experience:
- 3 or more years of experience in developing and managing proposals.
- Prior experience with US based clients.
- Expertise in full cycle proposal/contract writing (RFP release, submittal, and contract award).
- Excellent written communication skills.
