Job Overview:As the Technical Presales Head in Cyber Security, you will be responsible for leading the technical presales team, providing expert guidance in cybersecurity solutions to potential clients, and ensuring the alignment of technical offerings with customer needs. This role demands a strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to strategize and collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, and product teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technical presales professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to ensure the team's success.
  • Presales Strategy: Develop and implement presales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical expert on cybersecurity solutions, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies to effectively advise customers on the best solutions for their needs.
  • Solution Consulting: Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, architect solutions, and develop compelling proposals that address client challenges and objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's cybersecurity product portfolio, including features, capabilities, and competitive differentiators, and effectively communicate these to clients.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage directly with clients to conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts, building confidence in our solutions and driving sales opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to foster collaboration and drive successful outcomes.
  • Sales Support: Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including RFP/RFI responses, technical documentation, and solution design.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather customer feedback and insights from the field to inform product enhancements, marketing strategies, and sales tactics, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for the presales team to enhance technical knowledge, presentation skills, and solution-selling capabilities, ensuring readiness to address diverse customer requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a technical presales role within the cybersecurity industry, with a track record of success in driving sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including but not limited to network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, SIEM, and identity and access management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, capable of understanding client needs and aligning technical solutions to address them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
