Job Description: Unit HR Head (Hospital Level)

Position Title: Unit HR Head
Location: Ranchi
Reports To: Unit COO

Role Objective:

Responsible for managing the end-to-end HR function for the assigned hospital unit, ensuring smooth operations across talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and workforce management. Acts as the key HR partner for the Unit Head and all departmental leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations of the hospital unit.
  • Drive manpower planning, recruitment, and onboarding in alignment with unit requirements.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, and ensure employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee time office, payroll inputs, and contract labor management.
  • Ensure statutory and legal compliance (PF, ESI, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
  • Implement corporate HR policies and customize them as per unit needs.
  • Coordinate training and development activities for clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Support audits and accreditations (NABH, JCI, ISO) from an HR perspective.
  • Act as the HR SPOC for the Unit Head and leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • 8+ to 12 years of experience in HR, with at least 34 years in healthcare/hospital HR.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR operations, and hospital manpower structures.
