Job description:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Technical Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, your role involves understanding and explaining our engineering products to our clients, which include high-level railway executives. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering concepts, exceptional communication skills, and a results-driven approach.

Role & responsibilities:

- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services, and their place within the railway industry,- Explain and demonstrate the technical aspects and benefits of our products to clients.- Build and maintain professional relationships with new and existing clients, including high-level railway executives.- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, schedule and conduct meetings, and close sales.- Proficient with tenders and documentation- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, as well as after-sales support services.- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining our products to customers and prospective customers- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.- Meet or exceed sales goals, and report on sales progress.- Stay updated on industry trends and competition.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Degree in Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred).- Proven experience preferably 5 yr. as a Business Development Executive or relevant role.- Understanding of the railway industry and its engineering requirements.- Ability to comprehend and explain our engineering products in a clear and effective manner.- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.- Proficient in MS Office; CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to travel as needed.
