We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who is either a recent graduate or nearing the completion of their studies and is eager to learn the ropes of business development. As a Business Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sales environment, supporting our team by identifying key prospects and contributing to the success of our outbound sales efforts, you should be willing to travel 30-50% of the time to various client locations across India.
Ideal Requirements of Candidate:
Education: Preferably an MBA graduate with an Engineering background.
Experience: 0-1 years in sales, business development, or related fields.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to create and deliver presentations.
Other Skills: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, quick learner, and adaptable in a competitive environment.
Additional: Passionate about sales, with an understanding of marketing principles.
Technical Responsibilities:
Research and Recommendation: Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities using a standardized template checklist.
Tender Monitoring: Regularly monitor tender portals to identify potential opportunities.
Market Analysis: Analyse various markets to identify potential sales options.
Trend Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to suggest product/service improvements or new offerings.
Data Management: Collect, analyse, and prepare data and sales reports using PPT and Excel.
Skills Development: Attend workshops and conferences to enhance technical and professional skills.
Networking: Build and maintain professional networks relevant to the industry.
Targeting: Filter company lists to target ideal customer profiles for outreach.
Prospect Segmentation: Identify and segment prospects based on key research findings.
Campaign Support: Assist in the preparation of outbound campaigns.
Team Support: Support the Business Development team with various tasks.
Business Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop business strategies and identify new markets.
Client Outreach/Visits: Be prepared to travel frequently, covering 30-50% of your time for client meetings and business trips, with travel expenses reimbursed.
Proposal Preparation: Participate in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
Market Research: Contribute to the company’s market research efforts by gathering relevant industry data.
Record Maintenance: Support the maintenance of accurate sales records and client interactions
Stipend Amount: ₹20,000 per month based on the candidate's performance
