Job Description

As our Director of Sales, you'll be the driving force behind our continued sales growth and play a critical role in the future of an ambitious organization. Leading a dynamic team of in-home sales consultants, you'll inspire and empower them to master the "one-call close" and achieve extraordinary results. Your hands-on and strategic leadership will set the standard as you hit the field with your team, sparking passion and results. You'll continually innovate, streamline processes, and enhance efficiencies with best practices and SOPs. Your sharp analytical skills will be crucial in harnessing data-driven insights to forecast trends, make insightful decisions, and spearhead strategic initiatives that catapult our business to new, but expected heights. This role is for a builder who is passionate about growing sales, teams, and a premier brand. 



Scope of Work:

  • Cultivate a high-performance sales culture centered around excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of elite in-home sales consultants, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to succeed.

  • Lead by example by actively participating in sales activities, conducting in-home consultations, and closing deals alongside your team.

  • Champion innovation and process improvement initiatives to streamline sales operations and enhance the customer experience.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and exceed performance metrics.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales efforts with business objectives and drive growth.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track sales performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for optimization.

  • Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and projections based on historical data and market analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Foster a culture of accountability and transparency by providing regular performance feedback, coaching, and recognition to team members.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in in-home sales, preferably within the home remodeling or construction industry.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve their full potential.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and proficiency in sales analytics and forecasting.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies, processes, and SOPs that drive results.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.

Schedule and Location: 

This is a hybrid/remote position 5 days per week. Your influence will be needed on most Saturdays and some Sundays dependent on business needs.
