Position Title: Corporate Relationship Manager Pharma Industry Relations
Department: Placement & Corporate Relations Cell (Pharmacy College)
Reports To: Head Corporate Relations / Dean Pharmacy
Role Overview:
The Corporate Relationship Manager will be responsible for building strong industry
partnerships with leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. The role will
primarily focus on creating opportunities for student placements, internships, guest
lectures, industry projects, and other corporate collaborations. The individual should
have proven connections in the pharma sector and the ability to engage industry
leaders on behalf of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, connect, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in
pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.
• Drive industry tie-ups for student internships, campus placements, live projects,
and training programs.
• Organize corporate engagement activities such as guest lectures, industry visits,
and expert talks.
• Maintain a database of pharma industry contacts and regularly engage them for
placement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Placement & Corporate Relations Cell to strategize student
career development programs.
• Negotiate and finalize Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with corporate
partners.
• Track industry trends, hiring patterns, and emerging skill requirements in the
pharma domain.
• Represent the university at corporate forums, job fairs, and industry conclaves.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or
related fields.
• 3- 5 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, or HR
(preferably in pharma/healthcare).
• Strong industry network within pharmaceutical companies and allied sectors.
• Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve placement/corporate engagement
targets.
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
