Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our founding team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are passionate about sales, business development, and building relationships with decision-makers.

The role will evolve in phases:

  • Phase 1 (Month 1): Research, sales enablement, outreach prep.
  • Phase 2 (Month 2 onwards): Client meetings, pitches, deal closures.
  • Phase 3 (Future scope): Growth, expansion, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1: Market Research & Sales Enablement (Month 1)

  • Research corporate gifting trends, competitors, and target sectors.
  • Build a database of decision-makers (HR heads, procurement teams, CXOs, admins in colleges, hotels, resorts).
  • Create sales pitches, scripts, and outreach decks for client acquisition.
  • Work with the founder to sharpen go-to-market strategies.
  • Begin outreach via LinkedIn, email, and cold calling to secure initial meetings.
  • Track leads, prospects, and progress in CRM/Excel trackers.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials such as one-pagers and short decks.

Phase 2: Active Business Development (Month 2 onwards)

  • Conduct client meetings (virtual and in-person), presenting WildSattva products professionally.
  • Build relationships with corporates, hotels, resorts, and educational institutions.
  • Customize solutions to client needs and close deals.
  • Work towards monthly sales targets, utilizing a commission-based incentive system that rewards performance above target.
  • Draft and share quotations, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain a pipeline CRM sheet for lead-to-deal tracking.
  • Submit weekly reports on outreach, meetings, and conversions.
  • Gather client feedback to refine products and packaging.
  • Represent WildSattva at trade fairs, events, and exhibitions.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction.

Phase 3: Growth & Expansion (Future Scope)

  • Manage and grow key corporate accounts with repeat orders.
  • Expand outreach to new cities and industries.
  • Identify opportunities to add new SKUs and hampers into the product line.
  • Mentor junior sales reps as the team grows.
  • Build strategic partnerships with event managers, hotels, and consultants.
  • Share quarterly insights with leadership for product and sales strategy refinement.
  • Help scale WildSattva into a recognized national premium gifting brand.

Who's a Good Fit

  • Strong interest in sales and business development.
  • Confident communicator (English required; local language is a bonus).
  • Self-driven, motivated, and eager to work in a startup environment.
  • Comfortable with client outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
  • Organized, with the ability to track progress and meet targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools is a bonus.
  • Ready to take ownership of sales outcomes and grow with the brand.
