Overview: As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and executing the vision for our US Healthcare IT project implementations focused on driving enhanced patient care, Payer/Provider operational efficiencies, and solving complex interoperability challenges through innovative solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive product strategy, and ensure successful product launches by leveraging industry standards like HL7/FHIR and electronic health records.


Responsibilities:

Vision and Strategy:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Identify current product gaps and generate innovative ideas to improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Owner of project requirements, goals, and objectives. 
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with external partners.
  • Lead client-facing discussions and collaborate with the internal product development and leadership team to drive the implementation against aggressive timelines.
  • Develop Product backlog working closely with client business team and internal product stakeholders to drive agile sprints. Key stakeholder for ensuring sprint demos meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that requirements are accurately captured, documented, and prioritized.
  • Ability to leverage and envision based on emerging trends in US healthcare technology around Hospital-at-Home, Telehealth, remote patient monitoring and more, to propose and implement innovative ideas that enhance patient care and operational efficiencies.


Requirements and Prototypes:

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Utilize your knowledge of US healthcare technology products, including EHR systems and interoperability standards like HL7/FHIR, to develop scalable and effective solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Technology teams (Node JS, Flutter, React, AWS, Express, Postgres etc.) to ensure timely development and delivery.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle.
  • Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.


Project Tracking:

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery phases, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budget constraints
  • Manage project workflows, track issues, and facilitate agile development practices using JIRA to ensure efficient project execution and collaboration.


Pricing and Positioning:

  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to align with product line strategy.


Product Evangelism:

  • Act as a product evangelist, building awareness and understanding.
  • Gather feedback from customers to continuously improve products.



Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager or similar in US healthcare IT projects.
  • Possess strong healthcare domain knowledge and understanding of US healthcare workflows and data models.
  • Track record of managing successful products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
