Regional Manager

Basic Function:
As a Territory Sales Manager at Medispec, you will take charge of promoting our Scientific products within a designated territory, targeting Institutes, academia, Industries, Pharma, Biopharma, CRO, and allied customers. Your role encompasses providing product training and delivering scientific and technical assistance to users.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Territory Management: Effectively manage and generate leads for all Medispec Lab products within Mumbai.
- Product Expertise: Develop advanced-level skills with products from Channel partners like Agilent, Nicoya, Syngene, Nuaire, AES, GESIM, 10x Genomics, etc. Stay informed about new assays and technologies.
- Customer Support: Provide phone and/or email communication support for Data Analysis software, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Event Representation: Actively participate and represent Medispec at local/regional vendor shows. Conduct seminars and present posters to showcase our products.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and/or weekly reports using our CRM system, detailing customer visits, lead generation, actions taken, sales demonstrations, and other field activities.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience:
- Advanced degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related major.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
- Moderate knowledge of ELISA, PCR, Flow Cytometry, Electrophoresis, Imaging, Microscopy, Fluorescence, SPR and Luminescence assays gained in an academic or industrial lab.
- Ability to diagnose complex instrumentation or application issues.
- Strong computer skills and data reduction experience.
