Our Financial Services client is hiring Regional Collections Managers


Experience : 15+ years in Collections

Location : Hyderabad (lead Telangana and AP), Pune, Mumbai as base location (lead Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh); Lucknow as base location (lead Uttar Pradesh)

Experience in Banking / NBFC / Fintech


Experience Required: 12 - 18 years

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for driving the collections for digital PL at the regional level and ensure execution of governance model in the defined region.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding agencies as per the established SOP
  • Train and coach the collections team for effective collections within the specified geography.
  • Monitor & review the activities of the regional collections team for achievement of collections targets.
  • Ensure adherence to collection processes in the region, i.e Account allocation, tracking, monitoring the field penetration, identifying & reporting fraudulent practices and executing governance model.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Implement collection strategies at the regional level for efficient collections and recovery of outstanding loans
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to collection process and take preventive action against erring agencies / agents.
  • Ensure cost effective collections in the region, test and implement different collection models such as tele calling, account shuffling and Skip tracing.
  • Ensure legal tool is implemented as per strategic guidelines.

  • Operational execution to ensure assigned task is completed within the time frame

  • People Management skills




KeySkills/Experience :

A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.

12+ years of experience in collections required, with at least 6 years in a Managerial role.

Manage a team of Area Collections Managers, Collections Managers

Monitor vendor performance and provide guidance.

Develop and execute collection strategies at the regional level

Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage a large team effectively
