We are looking to employ an HR assistantwith outstanding administrative and communication skills. An HRassistant is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superborganizational and time management skills. You must be reliable andshould accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitaskand acclimatize to a fastpacedenvironment.To ensure success HR assistantsshould display remarkable conflict management and decisionmakingskills with a solid understanding of employee relationshipsstaffing management and payroll and benefits administration. Topcandidates will be superb at problemsolving efficient in schedulingand precise in the recruitmentprocess.
Responsibilities
  • Supportall internal and external HRrelated inquiries orrequests.
  • Maintain digital and electronicrecords of employees.
  • Serve as point of contactwith benefit vendors and administrators.
  • Assistwith the recruitment process by identifying candidates performingreference checks and issuing employmentcontracts.
  • Maintain calendars of the HRmanagement team.
  • Oversee the completion ofcompensation and benefit documentation.
  • Assistwith performance managementprocedures.
  • Schedule meetings interviews HRevents and maintain agendas.
  • Coordinatetraining sessions and seminars.
  • Performorientations and update records of newstaff.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HRactivity.
  • Process payroll and resolve anypayroll errors.
  • Complete termination paperworkand exit interviews.
  • Keep uptodate with thelatest HR trends and bestpractices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorsdegree in human resources or related(essential).
  • 2 years of experience as an HRassistant (essential).
  • Exposure to labor lawand employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HRadministration and people managementskills.
  • Exposure to payrollpractices.
  • Full understanding of HR functionsand best practices.
  • Excellent written andverbal communication skills.
  • Works well underpressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highlycomputer literate with capability in email MS Office and relatedbusiness and communication tools.
  • Fantasticorganizational and time managementskills.
  • Strong decisionmaking andproblemsolving skills.
  • Meticulous attention todetail.
  • Ability to accurately followinstructions.
