Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the payroll team.

Oversee the complete payroll cycle, including data collection, computation, statutory deductions, and disbursements.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements related to payroll.

Ensure that all payroll practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards.

Review and validate payroll calculations to ensure accuracy.

Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Support and facilitate payroll-related audits and inspections conducted by external agencies.

Ensure all required documentation and records are readily available for audit purposes.

Continuously evaluate and enhance payroll processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
