Key Roles & Responsibilities
At BOT VFX, we are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
Data Collation and Processing
The Payroll Specialist will collect and timely closure of attendance and related data for payroll processing. This will involve entering data into payroll databases, spreadsheets, and software programs.
Data Management
The successful candidate will maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and employee records, including salary, benefits, and tax information.
Employee Queries
The Payroll Specialist will provide timely responses to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns from employees.
Payroll Allied Activities
The successful candidate will be responsible for timely processing of full & final settlement, leave management, and maintaining employee records on Keka.
Compliance
The Payroll Specialist will ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes that impact payroll.
Reports, Metrics & Analytics
The successful candidate will generate payroll-related reports, maintain employee databases, and input data to publish various HR dashboards and management reports as required.
Collaboration
The Payroll Specialist will work closely with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Software Utilization
The successful candidate will utilize Keka software for payroll processing and reporting.
Process Improvement
The Payroll Specialist will identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications & Skill Set Required
To be successful in this role, the candidate will require a Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience with strong knowledge in running payroll is also required.
Technical Expertise
The successful candidate will be proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Any other knowledge of IT software and tools will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Regulations
The Payroll Specialist will be familiar with labor laws, taxation, and compliance requirements.
Attention to Detail
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with an eye for detail.
Interpersonal Skills
The Payroll Specialist will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees, internal stakeholders, and the finance team.
