Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
  • Collect and timely closure of attendance and related data for payroll processing. Enter data into payroll databases, spreadsheets, and software programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions. Update employee records, including salary, benefits, and tax information.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns from employees in a timely manner.
  • Process full and final settlements, manage leave, and maintain employee records on Keka.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations, staying up-to-date with changes that impact payroll.
  • Generate payroll-related reports, maintain employee databases, and publish HR dashboards and management reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize Keka software for payroll processing and reporting, with knowledge of Keka being a plus.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance overall efficiency, supporting the development of tools and spreadsheets for the employee life cycle process.

Qualifications & Skill Set Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with strong knowledge in running payroll.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in payroll software, with experience in Keka being a significant advantage, and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Familiarity with labor laws, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with an eye for detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees, internal stakeholders, and the finance team.
