We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Strategic Alliance to drive our strategic partnerships and manage our BNPL offerings across key segments like Education, Healthcare, Electric Vehicles (EV), and Solar. This role requires an innovative leader who can steer our strategic direction, maximize ROI, and ensure the highest standards of portfolio quality.


Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Partnerships Management:
  • Drive key partnerships with merchants in the Education, Healthcare, EV, and Solar segments to promote unsecured BNPL loans.
  • Negotiate and secure favorable commercial terms to enhance ROI per account.
  • National Leadership:
  • Responsible for the onboarding of healthcare professionals and the due diligence of merchants.
  • Set and manage credit limits for merchants under the BNPL scheme.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Own the Profit & Loss statements for BNPL operations.
  • Ensure sustainable business growth and delivery across India by leveraging strategic insights and analytics to boost financial performance.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Create and lead a high-performance team dedicated to the success of strategic alliances and partnership growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Acquisition Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement robust acquisition strategies to create demand and increase market penetration.
  • Identify and utilize diverse lead generation sources, including both outbound and inbound marketing campaigns.
  • Risk and Portfolio Management:
  • Regularly monitor the portfolio quality, assess risk factors and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with policy, legal, communications, marketing, product, finance, operations, and IT departments to ensure a cohesive approach to strategic partnerships.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in BNPL or personal lending (Unsecured Loans) within a large fintech environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, with a track record of forming successful strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of financial metrics and P&L management.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
