Job Description

This role to Proposal Engineer Filtration products, will be responsible for complex techno-commercial offers support to global sales/customers. Responsible for quality and On Time Delivery (OTD) of the techno commercial offers prepared. Resolve TQ & CQ until order is resulted.

Key Activities:

  • Analyzing inquiries, make correct product selection inline with customer needs & global standard.
  • Studying Customer RFQ and project specifications, prepare comments - deviation sheet, product datasheet and costing sheet for filter and/or entire filtration systems. etc
  • Manage KPI in terms of On time delivery (OTD) and Quality of the outputs
  • Ensure compliance with proposal process and outputs from proposal team.
  • Co-ordinate with various global cross functional teams (CZ Plant/CoE/JVEL) for getting results.
  • Follow regular inquiry review meetings, Daily accountability (DAM) meetings.
  • Keep focus on opportunities of improvements through SES tool to improve KPIs

  • Working on nonstandard / Standard First Fit & spares inquiries with complex requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Attend and understand all assigned training programs. Including Know how and GLR.
  • Ensure meet the business expectations in terms of On time delivery (OTD) Cost and quality outputs.
  • Learn about the tools used, make sure error free quotation preparation.
  • Responsible timely support for SAP quotes, correct price estimation for technical requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures (Smiths values and Leadership behaviors).
  • Follow Quality register matrix and look for improvement opportunities using SES problem solving tools
  • Support Sales / BDMs / Junior engineers about engineering process & products.
  • To use Engineering tools and perform correct nonstandard standard product selection calculation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain good rapport with sales and internal customers.
  • Should actively contribute to Continuous Improvements in their day-to-day work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or equivalent min. 4-7 years' experience
  • Technical proposal / application  engineering.
  • Pressure Vessels, Thermodynamics, ASME,AD-2000
  • CAD Knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Welding Process
  • Self-discipline &Work in
  • Time management
  • Self-discipline
  • Work in International environment
