Position Summary:

Anvka Pvt Ltd is actively seeking an accomplished Senior Manager - Gem Auction & Operator to spearhead the strategic management of our auction processes on the Government e Marketplace (Gem) and National Public Procurement Portal. This pivotal role is essential in maximizing the visibility and competitiveness of our product offerings through effective bidding and auction strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a results-driven professional with deep expertise in procurement and auction management. You will play a crucial role in translating complex market data into actionable insights, thus driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiencies and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities of a GeM Business Development Manager:

  • Vendor Management:Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors registered on the GeM portal.
  • Sales Strategy:Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to increase sales volume and revenue on the GeM platform.
  • Bidding and Proposals:Drafting compelling bids and proposals for government procurement opportunities available on the GeM portal.
  • Compliance:Ensuring all sales activities adhere to GeM's guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Communication:Effectively communicating with both buyers and vendors to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve any issues.
  • Sales Performance:Driving sales performance, achieving sales targets, and potentially earning incentives based on results.
  • Market Analysis:Identifying and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities within the GeM ecosystem.
  • Relationship Building:Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and potential clients.
  • Lead Generation:Identifying and pursuing new leads, converting them into potential clients, and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Product Listing and Catalog Management:Assisting vendors with product listing, catalog management, and price updates on the GeM portal.
  • Training and Support:Providing training and support to vendors and buyers on how to effectively utilize the GeM portal.

  • Auction Strategy Development: Design and implement robust auction strategies tailored to the specific needs of our products, ensuring optimal market positioning and competitiveness in the Government e Marketplace and National Public Procurement Portal.


• Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct comprehensive analyses of market trends and auction results to derive actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and business planning.


• Bidding & Auction Management: Oversee the entire bidding process, from initial setup to final execution, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and best practices in auction management.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams to prepare detailed auction documentation that accurately reflects product specifications and value propositions.


• Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate auction performance, preparing insightful reports and presentations for senior management.


• Stakeholder Engagement & Training: Lead training sessions for internal teams to optimize auction effectiveness, ensuring all stakeholders are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed.


• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all auction activities adhere to governmental regulations and procurement standards, maintaining the integrity of the bidding process.


• Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of auction processes and systems, staying abreast of industry developments and innovations in e-procurement.

Qualifications:
